fantasy rp II: the revengening

Attu places the King and his family in front of the throne towards Lazuli, giggling on how the King obeys Lazuli. "Oh the fun we are gonna have" Attu looks at Nyx and Lazuli "Anything else? Or maybe the new ones may be in service" Attu smiles.

Lazuli considers it for a moment, before waving her hand regally. "You may go, my minions. Remember that I am now the queen of your tiny country, and as such, you report all to me." Yeah, she's on a power trip- she would never have gotten to ascend to the throne with Ruby firmly ensconced upon it. But now? She has her own kingdom. Fuck yes.

The former king and his family scurry off, and she rearranges herself on the throne, yawning.  "Now that that's done with, where are we headed next?"

Felicity takes in a few deep breaths, the masked being patting her on the head, "You're gonna be better now."

Attu lays down by the throne next to Lazuli and Nyx "We should probably stay and run the King and his family ragged until they're a hollow shell" Attu giggles at the thought.

"...we have a journey to be on. Or do you prefer to abandon our quest and stay with Lazuli?" Nyx looks offended, on the verge of tears. Their decapitation and subsequent new, smaller form has flipped the switch of their emotions to heights they haven't reached in almost a century. They don't want to have to share their tanglebuddy with their hatefriend!

Felicity sighs, "You're good to go, Sebastian." The masked being nods and disappears in a puff of smoke, leaving Felicity on the roof.

Attu grabs Nyx putting them on his back "What and where is this journey you speak of"

They squeak and flail, almost falling off Attu's back. "Release me you cretin! We're searching for the last page, as you well know!"

Null watches, the tip of his sword on the ground. He was a relatively normal guardian- his comrade who holds the final page is nowhere near as goodwilled. If the kingdom hadn't worshiped Nyx, he would have been unable to give them even the small leeway he did.

Attu releases Nyx right away with silence following looking at Nyx in a upset manner.

Lazuli shakes her head and cuts in. "Dude, I'm not even staying here yet. I wanna go on the adventure; I'll come back after we bring back the bitch. Calm your tiny, shadowy tits." Did Nyx even have reproductive organs? It was a mystery.

Nyx huffs and turns away from Attu, clenched fists hidden in their sleeves. "Are we going or not , then? We have one more page to find, and I can't sense it anywhere..."

Attu looks scolded "Yes we are going" Attu looks at Lazuli with his claws scrapping on the floor in a angered manner. "Yeah, okay"

"I guess we'll have to do some investigating."

Attu looks at Azeera "That's what I'm assuming."

Yay, investigating! Aka, torture and causing chaos. Lazuli is so down for this, and her first step is obvious. She jumps off the throne and grabs Null by one armored hand, tugging and digging in her claws through the gaps in his armor. "So Null, you wouldn't happen to know where the other guardian of the page lurks, would ya?"

"What is our first move? Also Nyx can't sense the magic....... guessing that's were the guard comes in?"

"I do not. We were created and then separated." Null pulls away from Lazuli. "You will have to find them on your own."

Attu looks at Null "Then how else are we going to find the last page?"

"I do not know." Null just stands there, utterly uncaring. It doesn't matter to him if they get the page. He's a guardian, pure and simple.

"Oh well, nothing wrong with a journey not alone yet unknowing to what lies ahead....... Like you"

Lazuli stretches, and the crack of bones are heard as her wings tear out of her back. She uses them to hover around Nyx, Null, and Attu, a tent of leathery blue skin and scales. "I suggest we head to a big city, ask around there. Maybe use seduction to our advantage." She smirks, and pulls Nyx close.

Nyx's tendrils drag everyone along, willing or unwilling, as they head through the castle and to the tower they arrived in. When they reach the apex, Lazuli transforms fully, and grabs everyone in her mouth to deposit them, slightly damp, in the hollow between her shoulderblades. She takes off, spiraling into the sky, and Nyx leans back against Attu.

Attu looks at Lazuli at the remark she made 'What the fuck" Attu without notice quickly gets grabbed by Nyx and gets launched in the sky by Lazuli taking off in the sky. Attu sighs "Long trip?" Leaning against Nyx.

"Presumably." Attu is warm, and Nyx leans even closer- the cold air saps their strength and makes them sluggish. "...sorry..."

"What I figured" Attu doesn't mind Nyx leaning on him. On the way Lazuki is gaining speed it's bound to be cold. "It's okay" Attu kinda enjoys it. Despite the fact that Nyx is upset with him.

Azeera perches back in the shadows of one of Lazuli's feet settling in for the trip.

Eventually, Nyx starts to meditate, sinking into a dark pool they keep in their thoughts for a facsimile of rest. They lean against Attu back in their body, but their mind is still and quiet, drifting through old memories. They remember when they first met Ruby- soon after they started their change, from a normal girl into a creature of shadow. They say that if you stare into the abyss, it stares back into you, and Nyx discovered that that was only too true. They haven't been human for hundreds of years, and they don't miss it one bit.

Lazuli was their second 'friend' once they changed. Ruby kidnapped them and took them home to the castle, and her younger sister burst in. She was tiny back then, a small girl with dark skin and freckles dotting her face, fuzzy blue hair kept into messy pigtails. She stormed up to Nyx and kicked them in the shin for stealing her big sister's attention. It was the beginning of a beautiful hate-friendship.

They consider Peridot a tanglebuddy as well, but the sisters hate each other. Perhaps they're all jealous that Nyx likes them all? They don't know, nor do they care. Their memories start to fade away as they slip deeper into the pool, leaning against Attu, one hand idly stroking the warm scales of Lazuli's neck.

She just keeps flying, a tiny, rumbly purr shaking her whole body and almost tossing her riders off. She stops, but a toothy grin splits her snout. Although neither of them would admit it, they can be sweet at times. She speeds up, beating her wings and leaping forward with each wingbeat, traveling up through the clouds and to their next destination- a return to the city in which the original group met.
