fantasy rp II: the revengening

"Well, you can perform the magic without the last two pages, but it might mess up and it has no safety to stop the drain of life force from the caster"

"Kay, I realize this whole adventure reunion thing is important to y'all, but wouldn't it be easier to, like, leave the bitch dead? We can take over this castle, start our own kingdom- they already worship Nyx anyway- and have loads of fun. Of course, if that ain't an option, dark magic is radiating from the cave-dungeons under the castle." Lazuli shrugs.

Azeera gives Lazuli a pointed look, "I have no interest in worship. Zora is a friend so therefore it is sensible to find a way to bring her back safely for all folks since we know there is a way."

Attu looks at Lazuli "Now I really don't know the Wolf that well but looking at it, this group likes that so called Bitch named Zora. The Scaled Lizard loves her not that I care because I truly give no shits but since she's important to the group that goes as well with me so we are going to bring her back. I like that idea by the way..... How about we kill two birds with one stone huh? Save the Wolf and take over." Attu looks at Lazuli.

Lazuli grins, waving her hands around wildly and almost toppling over onto Nyx. She's seated on the arm of the throne, and when she gets off-balance she leans precariously over the shadow. "Dude, yes! How about half of us go down to the dungeons to search for the source of the magic, and half of us stay here and begin the takeover! I call being queennnnnn!"

Attu grins widely with his tendrils flailing with glee "Splended! Let's go right away. Shall we."

Azeera does((picard facepalm.)), shakes her head and sighs.

Nyx hops off the chair, stumbling a little, their robes twisted around them. They breeze past the others and out of the room as Lazuli takes a seat on the throne, surveying all she sees with her chin raised and a bright grin practically glowing on her face. "Go, my minions! I'lll hold down the fort here, y'all fuckers can go explore. You better hurry before Nyx gets too far ahead!"

"Lazuli where is Nyx heading off to?" Attu stands by the throne where Lazuli is sitting and lays down with his tendrils wrapped around him.

"Nyx is heading to the deep caverns under the castle because they think there could be a page there from the amount of dark magic emanating. Are you not going with them?" Lazuli doesn't really care either way, but she would have expected the tanglebuddies to stay together. Of course, they're fighting, so that could explain it.

Nyx hurries through the hallways, head tilted down and blank eyes on the floor. They can practically smell the dark magic coming from the deeps, and they head steadily down and down through the castle and towards it.

"Afraid not, I disappointed them" Attu sighs "It will all be well soon..... I hope" Attu looks at his severed tendrils. "Azeera" Attu whispers "They aren't regenerating like I hoped for.... Wonder what's up"

Azeera lurks in the shadows near Felicity, keeping an eye out for where Nyx is going.

Felicity sits down, her back against a wall. She looks at the space next to her, whispering a conversation.

Nyx is totally fine with this. They can explore on their own, and it doesn't sting in the slightest that not even their tanglebuddy decided to join them on their adventure. They sigh, and continue on a spiraling staircase that twists down into the cave system that surrounds the castle, full of treasure and skeletons. It's dark, but they don't need light to see- they're a creature of the shadows, dammit! They are tough, and cruel, and not a soft-hearted mortal who has acid leaking from the corners of their eyes in a facsimile of tears.

Back on her new throne, the guards have slowly regained their courage and crept back to their places around Lazuli and the rest of the group. She's draped inelegantly over the throne, a tiny spark of blue fire drooling out of her open mouth. Hey, she never said she was a fancy princess. That job is left up to she and Ruby's youngest sister- Peridot, jealous bitch extraordinaire. She keeps trying to murder Ruby for the throne, and she'll be so pissed that Lazuli gets one too.

Attu looks at Lazuli "Anything ya need....... Princes" Attu says with a smile across his face. He's beginning to grow a liking to Lazuli.

Attu looks at Lazuli "Very Well" Attu sniffs the throne room heavily. "Do you smell that Lazuli" Attu takes another deep whiff "Fear and sweat, but its missing something" Attu hears the doors open loudly quickly turning his head seeing Nyx.

Azeera feels a prickle of unease after Nyx grabs the page. Careful there Nyx, there's a nonmortal guard there if you hadn't noticed. It already noticed you.

Felicity glances to Nyx, "Glad you found it." She then goes back to her whispered conversation.

Nyx makes it up to the throne room before they're thrown back, hitting the wall with the nasty cracking of their brittle bones. They cough up a glob of acid, weakly spitting it at their opponent: another shadow creature, who has taken the form of a knight and stands in front of them.

It dodges with little effort, drawing a dark sword and laying it to Nyx's neck. It slices through their thin skin, and they slump with the gurgle of blood from their jugular providing background music. They'll regenerate, of course, but for now? They're out for the count. It turns to the others, sword steady in its hands and a piercing gaze boring holes through them. "Return the page."

Felicity sighs, standing up. She seems to mutter an incantation of sorts before a summoning circle appears before her and in a puff of smoke a somewhat tall being in a black hooded robe with a white and red fox mask covering their face appears. A quick laugh is heard, "Just a shadow, Felicity? Surely you can handle this on your own." Felicity glares at the summoned being and it steps towards the shadow knight slowly.

The knight pulls a bone out of its arm, forming it into a shield that it drapes over its arm. The sword is sharp and gleaming, practically radiating darkness. It takes a quick step forward, flashstepping and lashing out at the being's chest with the sword.

In a flurry of quick motions a large shield of small blades forms infront of the masked being. "Oh I see why now." The being slides back with the shield as the force from the blow pushes them back.

Azeera darts foreward and knocks the shadow knight backwards onto his keester.
